Operation Christmas Child
We participate in Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse. We fill and collect shoeboxes with school supplies, hygiene items and fun toys, which are delivered to children in need around the world. The children are also invited to participate in a twelve-lesson discipleship program.
Wayne Street Helpers
A group of church people helping fellow church people in a time of need by using their God-given talents and gifts. When a situation arises, we are ready to be the Hands and Feet of Christ. Whether it is changing an outlet, decluttering a mess, driving to a doctor's appointment or building a ramp, we have people ready to serve!
Family Life Center
A ministry providing hope, education and resources to teens, women, men and families challenged by pregnancy. If you may be pregnant, or if you already have an infant and are in need, we can help you with free pregnancy tests, support, baby and maternity clothes, supplies, and more.
CRU is an interdenominational Christian church for college and university students. CRU leads students to Christ and equips them to spread the Gospel. Wayne Street UMC is proud to sponsor Liz Sampson and the important work she does in changing the lives of those young adults.

HIS Home, Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Wayne Street UMC supports HIS home in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, through their employee wage sponsorship program. A full sponsorship is $1,800 per year and ensures employees are always paid on time. Through Wayne Street UMC giving, we’ve already been able to support an employee at HIS Home.
Spirit Lake Ministry
Spirit Lake Ministry Center is dedicated to supporting the people of the Spirit Lake Nation in North Dakota. By donating $1,000, we support their food pantry for one month. During the four days the pantry is open each month, it serves more than 600 people.
Henderson Settlement is tackling the region’s long-term poverty through home repair, food, assistance programs, new mother support, youth and senior activities, and education and literacy programs. Wayne Street supports Henderson Settlement by working on homes, passing out food, and more.
