EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

Get connected at Wayne Street United Methodist Church.

Faith isn’t just a feeling. It’s shown in the way we interact with others and share our beliefs, time, talent, and treasures with the rest of the world. That’s why we offer a wide variety of ways to meet and connect with others who can deepen your faith experience beyond Sunday morning worship.

We also follow two of Jesus’ most important teachings: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength,” and “Love your neighbor as yourself. No other commandment is greater than these” (Mark 12:29-31).

Social Opportunities

There’s always something to do at Wayne Street United Methodist Church. Stay up-to-date with all our activities by liking our Facebook page and checking our online calendar for a listing of social events, including meals, concerts, kids’ activities, and more.

Service and Missions

We care deeply about our community, both locally and globally. Our hope is that everyone who is a part of our fellowship will spend one day in mission per year. That doesn’t seem like much, but if everyone who is a part of Wayne Street would give 24 hours in service a year to a project that is meaningful to them, it would help us do great things.

We attempt to follow the Biblical model of outreach to local, regional, national, and international causes. Whether serving through a hands-on mission trip or project, or supporting missions through your prayers, monetary giving, or by donating needed items, outreach can be a life-changing opportunity.

Talk to one of our staff members or leaders to learn more about what’s going on now. And if you don’t see something that is meaningful to you, feel free to suggest it. Let’s see if God is calling you to help start a new ministry!
